Amazing first time experience! Food was great with no issues and service was excellent!

The wedding reception was held at this stunning location and was attended by approximately 100 guests. The couple spared no expense when it came to the drinks, and the dinner menu included delicious options such as steak and lobster. The cocktail hour was also top-notch, and the venue itself was very spacious. Unfortunately, we were too busy having fun and enjoying the food to take any pictures of it. It was so delicious that I couldn't resist devouring it.

Perfect date night spot. Really great atmosphere. The staff were all SO nice and super accommodating. We sat at a table by the bar area, which was a little weird because a lot of people were standing around while we were having dinner. It doesn't bother me but I'm sure it would bother someone else. The food was fantastic and it came out insanely fast. The chef made our dishes faster than the bartender could make our drinks. Highly recommend for a night out where you want to spend a little bit more on yourself.

I went here on a Friday night for a birthday dinner reservation after hearing about this place for years from my friends who are Long Island natives. This place truly lives up to its reputation as a fine dining establishment, and I'm excited to share my experience! We arrived and were greeted by the valet who took our car and then we were ushered inside. There is a luxurious entryway area to wait with large chairs, which was nice as the rest of our party trickled in. Once inside, we were greeted by a large bar in the center of the restaurant and escorted past it towards our table in the back of the room. I was surprised at the size of this round table which perfectly fit our party of 12. We were quickly served bread with butter and red sauce for dipping, which was lovely and given the wine menu. Our table chose to order several bottles of Cabernet and Pinot Noir, both of which were awesome. The main server for our party read through their numerous specials list, but I ultimately decided to order a half a dozen oysters on the half shell with caviar, Toro, sashimi, and a Caesar salad to start. My Caesar salad was great, with thin slices of perfectly toasted bread as the croutons and the perfect amount of dressing and Parmesan cheese. One of the members of our party ordered the Apple Wood Smoked Bacon, which came with tableside fire service. I tried to piece of the Bacon and it was hands-down one of the best pieces of bacon I've had the pleasure of eating in my life. It was thick, crispy, with great fatty pieces as well, and had the perfect amount of sweet yet smoky flavor. The oysters were wonderful as well, there was a good amount of liquid inside of them to add a citrus/vinegar flavor, and the crème fraîche was refreshing as well as as I slurped them down. I do wish that they came with slightly more caviar on top , but I would still order this again if I return. The Toro sashimi was expensive for the two pieces I received which were good but not outstanding. One of the highlights of the meal was the bone in steak that my partner ordered and shared with me as well. While he felt that it was a bit more on the rare side, as did most of our party that ordered steaks, I'm a huge fan of rare steak and still felt that it had the crispy char that I would expect. One of my favorite parts of my partner's meal that he let me try was the cream spinach side dip, which came in a separate side bowl and was a good size portion. It was hot, rich, and had a great texture. We did not order dessert, but the restaurant did bring out a birthday cheesecake for my friend that we were celebrating with candles, and then after the meal, the staff was kind enough to take several group photos of our party together. As for the atmosphere, the restaurant itself was the perfect amount of upscale lively to where you could still easily hear everyone speak, but it was clear. People were there to unwind and have a good time. The bathrooms were small yet in decent shape (one of the toilet seats was a little broken, which stood out to me as the rest of the bathroom was so nice) and there is a helpful bathroom attendant in the ladies room to hand out Gum if needed and open the door for you. Well, I do think that this is likely out of the price point to dine here regularly for dinner, I think that this is the perfect place to celebrate a life event or bring work partners for an upscale dinner. The service was one of the highlights of this restaurant for me. Thank you Insignia for a lovely evening!

Love this place been here many times. But would not go back for the prefix menu the portions were way too small. But had raw oysters which were really good and fresh. I had the steak and the cheese cake. We also had bacon but didn't like that cause it tasted really burnt. But all in all I love insignia

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for both special occasions and casual meals. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff demonstrated excellent knowledge of the menu I'd recommend this steakhouse to any meat lover looking for a satisfying meal in a pleasant environment.

The service was amazing! The waitress was super friendly, knew her menu and very pleasant. I was very impressed by Raphael, he brought out the food and really cared for how he served it! We didn't have the need to ask for anything as the whole entire staff was attentive. One of the waiters noticed my husband needed a bigger plate and he just brought it. We sat outside and the ambiance was fun! Thank you for insignia for making this experience a very memorable one!

My sister in law wanted to take us to a nice steakhouse so off we went to Insignia. They have a really nice patio in the back of the restaurant. The weather was perfect that day (not humid) and it was pleasant to sit outside. It is right by the parkway (?) so there is some minor road noise. The food here is very expensive so especially if you're getting steak, expect to pay $75-$100 per person (not including drinks). I got the filet mignon and was happy with the portion size. It was supposedly 14oz of steak but it didn't feel that large. I don't actually like steak that much (I get bored of it quickly) so I felt like it was the right amount. The filet mignon was compact and fat. I said for them to cook per the chef recommended temperature and they said medium. There was a nice char on the outer edge. I felt like the steak wasn't melt in your mouth though (?) so I may try medium rare if there's a next time. The steak came with literally nothing on the side. You need to pay extra for immediately plated things like shishito peppers, caramelized onions and Gorgonzola, etc. There are a ton of side dishes that you can order that come in separate plates and bowls. We got the burnt broccoli, creamed spinach, and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were incredibly creamy (almost a liquid consistency) and the garlic flavor was nice. The broccoli was good but nothing super crazy. I liked the creamed spinach as well (could have used a pinch more salt though). The sides are also a bit pricey about $16 for one and I felt like I could have finished an entire side by myself (they weren't super large portion sizes). Service was nice and very friendly. There was a bathroom attendant in the women's restroom. They had some items like candy, gum, mouthwash, hair ties, etc. I felt awkward taking anything though with the attendant hovering over the table so I didn't take anything. I would come back for special occasions. The food was overall tasty and the ambiance was quite nice and relaxing.

This review is based on a sponsored healthcare related educational dinner meeting. Our gracious hosts and Insignia provided a we'll organized and enjoyable evening. Arrived early and was able to peacefully enjoy a Hendrick's and Noilly negroni in a comfy outdoor space before the meeting. The meeting was held in a private dining room. A comfortable and quiet space that allowed the speaker to be heard and seen. Service was unobtrusive, yet efficient and attentive to both speaker and guests. The food served surpassed expectations for a fixed menu. I had the crab cake, caeser salad, and a spectacular piece of sea bass. Chocolate cake for take home dessert for a family member. As my dear wife Lisa E said in her review 11 years ago, spectacular especially when someone else us picking up the tab!
